It’s a busy week for the CERISE project at the European Geosciences Union 2024 conference, (EGU).
Pete Weston starts off with a poster session on Monday afternoon on “Enhanced coupled land-atmosphere data assimilation for reanalysis” and follows this up on Tuesday afternoon with an oral presentation on “Adaptive soil moisture bias correction in the ECMWF land data assimilation system “
Wednesday morning sees two oral presentations; from Gabriel Narváez on “Global Streamflow Seasonal Forecasts: Impact of soil moisture initialization in a novel two-way AOGCM-River Routing coupling approach” and from Margarita Choulga on “Varying lake surface cover for reanalysis application”
Finally on Thursday morning, Anaïs Barella-Ortiz will present a poster on “Evaluation of river discharge simulated with CTRIP forced by the CERRA-Land regional reanalysis over Europe.”
